What is Epithelial Tissue?
Epithelical Tissue is a group of closely packed cells, that cover your entire body. It is made up of one or many, depending.
There are two groups that Epithelical Tissue can be divided into. Each group is depended on the number of layers it has.
( found at layers.http://www.botany.uwc.ac.za/sci_ed/grade10/mammal/epithelial.htm )
There are 3 kinds of Epithelical Tissue:

All squamous, cuboidal and columnar are either simple or stratified
*Simple - one layer
*Stratified - many layers.

How about some examples?
Below is a picture of a cell, during cell division and the making of what is called daughter cells.

Heres an example!
Your filing some papers when you get a paper cut. That wound is very easy for your body to heal. At this point your cells will divide (into daughter cells) like in the picture above and will fill that cut quick and easily.

Problems with Ephitical Tissue and what can be done:
If there is a serious injury, a skin graft (like a nerve graft) can be done. This is when the Ephitical Tissue will be removed from one part of the body, and attached to another. Today doctors look to skin grafts often in cases of burns and other skin dieases.

Doctors growing new skin?!

Believe it or not, today doctors are working on something that will remove the need for skin grafts! Doctors are trying to grow, "artificial skin" with human skin cells. Read more of this artical at, http://www.news-medical.net/?id=34003
